A |     Former Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell is receiving hospice care treatment at home, a representative confirmed to CBS News Sunday. The artist — whose band is known for hits including "All Star" and "Walkin' on the Sun" — is being cared for by his fiancé, according to representative Robert Hayes. "My only additional comment is that we would hope that people would respect Steve and his family's privacy during this difficult time," Hayes said to CBS News. 

             

Harwell was previously diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a form of heart disease.       Smash Mouth was formed in 1994. Harwell was with the band until 2021, when he retired. Zach Goode became the band's frontman last year, according to Smash Mouth's website. The band is also well known for its cover of the Monkee's classic "I'm a Believer."  The band has not yet publicly commented on Harwell's condition.                                  。    (ECNS) -- Shipping throughput via the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River reached 100 million metric tons as of 12:40 a.m. Thursday, according to the Three Gorges Navigation Authority.    The ship locks handled 21,562 vessel passages and 97.276 million tons, while the ship lift managed 2,590 passages and 2.724 million tons, along with 446,000 passenger trips.        The milestone came despite lock maintenance, strong winds, fog and severe weather, as well as construction of a new waterway project.    The Three Gorges hub first surpassed 100 million metric tons in annual throughput in 2011.    From 2021 to 2025, its annual throughput exceeded 150 million metric tons for five consecutive years.    (By Helen Mo, intern Yang Hongran)                    。
